Greenhouse Build
We start building the greenhouse this Wednesday. The space is about 20 x 10' half over a preexisting slab. Foundation work is all done.
Your motivation: you want access to fresh vegetables when the grocery store shelves dry up for one reason or another, you want experience to build your own, you want to share your experience, you want to develop community that you can count on, you want to have a good time.
Schedule (email to be certain): January 28th and 30th
February 1st, 2nd, 20th, 21st, 22nd
All times are roughly 9am to 4pm stone soup for lunch, vegan. Why?
Especially need help with the earthen wall, otherwise its just 2X6 and recycled windows.

Movie Night and the TV SET
First let me just say the TV SET is on the googles http://ping.fm/xLIZr you can search too and getting tons of hits in the native Blip. I made a new archive page for it at http://ping.fm/QvR66 please go and see and bookmark it, every couple of weeks a new episode goes up. Its an hour long and a little corny but very real.
The same guy that hosts the show will be bringing a movie to the M3house every Tuesday. The new M3house site has a link to the info page on that.

Gnome Community Building
Vegan Gnome Potluck Party
The Potluck was cool, about 20 people attended altogether and the food was delicious. We made mash taters and super yummy gravy- ok Melinda made the awesome gravy. We got the recipe from the new large Slingshot yep, that's how HELD remembers stuff. We had to improvise a little, the recipe is vegan but called for beer and a couple other things we don't usually keep. I think Geddon brought the sumptuous Tempeh and hummus. Was it Jade that brought the Salty Balls? Mm, I loved the way the Salty Balls felt in my mouth. Anyway tons of food just kept coming and it was all super stellar.
The whole time we were playing exquisite Gnome. You paint part of a Gnome and then pass it to someone else who paints a little more. Or if someone should happen to break a thumb- the next person sticks it to its head in a ball of dried paint. It was good fun and the gnomes turned out much nicer than I imagined they would- you know, cause vegans are such notoriously terrible artists. Party started at six and wrapped up after midnight.
